| PLEASE
READ YOUR INSTRUCTION/INSTALLATION MANUAL BEFORE
GOING ANY FURTHER AND BEFORE CONTACTING SUPPORT.
Setup-Guide also has additional TroubleShooting
help. |
| You'd
be surprised at how many help requests we receive
from well meaning and eager people who simply haven't
read the step-by-step manual or these trouble-shooting
tips. This usually becomes obvious after hours of
sending email back and forth only to realize the
issue was already covered. We love our customers
and give everyone full attention so we ask that
you please read the guides before contacting us
:-) |
| Why
do I keep getting ixed warning/error messages? |
| Please
see your setup guide under the trouble-shooting
section. You can download the latest ixed files
from www.sourceguardian.com. Just download the correct
file, expand/unzip the files and then upload them
to your ixed folder on your web server. |
| Why
can't I get past the LEAH-Merchant Product Registration
Screen? |
|
Well
either you have acquired the product dishonestly
(as some have tried to do) or you may have moved
or duplicated your installation. Please send your
Download Ref Number and email used to place the
order to support and we'll try to get your installation
working.
Remember
your license allows for one installation only.
Any attempts to circumvent this Federal/International
copyright and licensing requirement without our
express written permission may result in swift
and sure legal action.

Order Not Registering In LEAH-Merchant Database |
|
In
your PayPal account: When
you use the "paypal account optional"
option and set it to "ON" if
the customer doesn't signup to paypal AND doesn't
"return to merchant," after paying for their
order, their order might not get posted
to the LEAH-Merchant Database. You will receive
payment but won't know what the customer purchased.
It is best until PayPal corrects or updates this
issue to turn this PayPal account option to
"OFF." Remember, you can still
use InstaSend to manually process their
order.
|
| My
order buttons and header image are not appearing
on screen what am I doing wrong? |
| Try
uploading your LEAH-Merchant files to your web server
with your FTP software's "AUTO" setting.
Image files might have been uploaded as ascii, when
they should have been binary. If you used the automated
setup program, please go into your account via ftp
and check your file settings manually. |
| PayPal
orders not getting delivered. |
|
First
be sure that your PayPal Return URL is set properly
as-per the Setup-Guide.

|
| Do
I have to rename all my LEAH-Merchant powered order
pages with a .PHP extension and re-upload them to
my web server? |
|
No-
It is easier to do so, however to avoid having
to resubmit your web pages and re-optimize your
newly named existing pages for search engines,
you can simply ask your web host to allow you
to run your PHP code as html. This is usually
done by adding the following line to your ".htaccess"
file in your "Public_Folder:"
AddType
application/x-httpd-php .php .html
|
| After
uploading the files to my web server and trying
to access my setup page. I am getting a source guardian
message saying that an ixed file is required. What
should I do? |
| Please
go to www.SourceGuardian.com and download the correct
updated ixed loader then upload it to your folder
called ixed within your LEAH-Merchant setup folder. |
| How
do I get the correct path to my "downloads/uploads"
folder, LEAH-Merchant keeps telling me that the
folder doesn't exist? |
| Please
consult your web hosting company or your hosting
account help files to find info on "paths."
For example, your path to document root might be:
"/home/YourHostingUserName/www"
so if you created a downloads folder outside of
your public folder, your path might be, "/home/YourHostingUserName/downloads"
be sure to use your correct hosting username to
get the correct path. |
| My
order pages have a "header already sent"
message at the top of the screen. |
| Depending
on your version of LEAH-Merchant, be sure that the
LEAH-Merchant include file, generated from the create
html code screen is at the very FIRST line of your
order pages. Be sure to see the Setup Guide for
more info. |
| Customers
claim that their order links don't work. |
|
Of
course you tested your order pages with a live
transaction, RIGHT?? :-) You can always place
a test order and then refund yourself.
Well,
if you know that your order pages work and that
the system delivers products with no difficulties,
here are some possibilities:
- Customer
is not copy/pasting or clicking on entire download
link (their email client could have broken the
download URL link into two lines). We place
the download link between brackets and tell
customers to copy/paste everything within the
brackets to their browser. Your system is setup
this way by default, however, you can edit your
download page and download email text at any
time to provide additional download directions.
- Customer
already clicked the link more times than the
limit that you set. Simply reset the link and
it will resend your product to the customer.
|
| Customer
is not receiving Download Email |
|
Be
sure to ask customer to check their inbox and
delete box carefully and make sure that your download
email subject line does not contain any spam related
keywords that might get your message sent to a
delete or spam box. Please see: Words
and Phrases that Trigger Some Spam Filters
Also
login to your LEAH-Merchant Installation and be
sure that your confirmation email has a "from"
and "subject."
